EXPLORE UPPINGHAM: RUTLAND’S QUAINT MARKET TOWN

Escape the bustle of the city for the tranquil countryside and visit one of Rutland’s smaller market towns. With its distinctive honey-coloured buildings, Uppingham boasts a wealth of history and old English charm. Wander aimlessly around the streets which are filled with an array of independent boutiques, cafes, restaurants and traditional country inns. At the heart of the town lies the marketplace, which hosts local events and a weekly Friday market. There’s certainly something for everyone to enjoy in Uppingham and we’ve selected a sample of our favourites.
